Greg Kirkman
Managing Director
A founder member of Ensafe Consultants, Greg has been involved in asbestos consultancy since 1989, working initially as an asbestos analyst, progressing to asbestos surveying and project management. He has also been involved in areas of Environmental Health & Safety. Prior to founding Ensafe, Greg acted as regional manager for a large environmental consultancy gaining experience managing projects in many places including power stations, cruise ships, residential houses and factories.
Richard Assenheim
Technical and Training Director
A founder member of Ensafe Consultants Richard is responsible for maintaining and implementing the quality system, overseeing audits and reviews and ensuring all training, policies and procedures are up to date and adhered to. Richard also heads up the asbestos training both internally and externally and liaises with technical and legislative bodies and other laboratories. Prior to founding Ensafe, Richard was laboratory manager for a well known environmental consultancy having worked his way up from consultant. As an ABICS assessor he is highly regarded within the industry.
Karen Harvey
Commercial Director
Karen Harvey has been with Ensafe since 2000 in a role that encompasses business planning and management of company information. This includes monitoring and assisting in the efficient operation of all departments to ensure all services to clients are delivered to the high standards required, including recruitment, staff personal development, and personnel management at all levels. Karen’s previous experience has been within facilities and catering management, delivering services to the Metropolitan Police, large council organisations and most recently for the British division of an American services organisation providing total management of all support services for MDT site clients.
Jon Clements
Head of Business Development
Jon first worked with Ensafe in 2005 as an External Business Development Consultant and joined the company later that year. Jon has worked for a number of Blue Chip companies as well as developing businesses in catering, telecoms and online entertainment. Jon’s role at Ensafe involves gaining new business, business growth/development, strategic company direction, as well as exploring new markets and opportunities.
Sam Savage
Operations Manager
Sam worked in the construction industry for 3 years prior to joining Ensafe Consultants in 2003. He has progressed through the company to the role of Operations Manager and is directly responsible for over 30 staff. Sam is also responsible for planning various contracts and ensuring all consultants know which contracts they will be involved in. In addition to this work Sam plays a large role in the development of staff with training, audits and staff appraisals.
Mandy Wright
Training and Audit Manager
Mandy carries out Audits and Reviews and ensures training, policies and procedures in relation to training activities are up to date and adhered to. Mandy reports to the Technical and Training Director on all technical matters and also provides supervision of consultants undertaking testing and inspection activities. She also carries out internal and external asbestos training and liaises with technical bodies, legislative bodies and other laboratories.
Neil Munro
Group Contracts Manager
Neil Munro has been within the asbestos industry for over 4 years and is currently in the role of Group Contracts Manager at Ensafe Consultants Limited. During the time at Ensafe Neil has carried out various works at numerous sites from general retail units, industrial sites through to more specific and intricate works at sites such as Grade 1 listed buildings etc.
Neil is directly in control of various contracts which he manages for his predominantly ‘blue chip’ clients. As well as overseeing and organising various projects, Neil is also actively involved within the sales development of the asbestos side of the business.
Neil came to the asbestos industry from a background within banking merchant services and catering & hospitality management, from which extensive customer service skills were obtained.
Danielle Seetoh
Laboratory Manager
Danielle joined Ensafe after graduating in 2004. She initially joined and qualified as a consultant before transferring to a Laboratory Technician then Laboratory Manager. Danielle is fully qualified in Identification of Asbestos in Bulk Samples and Building surveys and Bulk Sampling.
Rodger Ker
Health and Safety Consultant
Rodger joined Ensafe in August 2007 in a role which involves the provision of comprehensive professional and technical advice, practical support, guidance and training on all aspects of Health and Safety to employees and organisations. Rodger has twenty years experience in shipbuilding, engineering and engineering construction industries, as well as twenty years Health & Safety Management experience gained with three manufacturing and construction based organisations.
Consultants
All of our consultants are experienced in surveying of all types of premises and undertaking type 1, 2 and 3 asbestos surveys. Our consultants also provide project management of asbestos removal, air monitoring and analysis.
